Enson Inoue

aka "Yamato Damashii"

Enson Inoue has been in the sport of MMA for a long time now, beginning his MMA career professionally around 1995. Enson is the younger brother of Egan Inoue, another popular mixed martial artist.

Enson has not fought MMA since 2004, and his current professional record is 11 wins with 8 losses. He has battled some of the toughest fighters in the world such as Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Mark Kerr, Igor Vovchanchyn, Frank Shamrock and others, including an armbar victory over Randy Couture.

Enson developed a style of martial arts known as "Inoue Grappling" based primarily on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, along with elements of other combat arts such as boxing, wrestling and other fight styles combined.

Enson was the first ever Heavyweight Champion of the sport Shooto.
